View HERE the AADHIKARonline investigation into the decimation of the Tower Hamlets Lib Dems at the 4 May 2006 council elections. VIEW HERE first details of the NEXT series of Khoodeelaar! Demonstrations and campaign events to constitutionally force Tower Hamlets Council to PASS the NO TO CROSSRAIL Hole Bill Motion as demanded by Khoodeelaar! camapgn meeting held in hanbury Street on 22 January 2006
On 22 January 2006, more than one thousand people turned up in the Hanbury Street, off Brick Lane, London E1`, to attend a public meeting organised in support of the KHOODEELAAR! campaign against the Crossrail hole role of the East London borough of Tower Hamlets Council. The meeting hall [Brady Centre] was not spacious enough to accommodate everyone who wanted to get in. Many went away frustrated. But they were soon elated to hear that the meeting had in fact passed a unanimous motion that gave Tower Hamlets Council a clear ultimatum to pass an unequivocal NO to Crossrail hole Motion at the last full council meeting [due to be held] before the [then] scheduled 4 May 2006 local elections. The motion as passed by the 22 January 2006 meeting was proposed extempore by the Khoodeelaar! organiser Muhammad Haque who also wrote the Khoodeelaar! letter summarising the then legal grounds against Christine Gilbert who was told on 31 January 2006 to resign from her post in the Council.VIEW the KHOODEELAAR legal grounds for the sacking of CHRISTINE GILBERT
hereTexts of Muhammad Haque letter to Tower Hamlets Council chief Executive Christine Gilbert sent on 31 January 2006.[This letter should be read in conjunction with the Motion passed unanimously at the 22 January 2006 Khoodeelaar camapgn meeting held at the Brady Centre, Hanbury Street London E1 , also proposed by Muhammad haque who spoke the texts of the motion in his key note speech delivered at the Brady centre meeting 22 January 2006] Legal evidence in support of the latest demand for the sacking of Tower Hamlets Council 'chief executive' Christine Gilbert

How Tower Hamlets Council is getting into an even deeper mess [if that were possible!] now over Crossrail than it was before 4 May 2006 –The fact that the newly-appointed Mayor of Tower Hamlets Council felt the ‘best’ answer he could ‘think of’ to the question, ‘What criteria they had used, if any at all, to invite the individuals that they had invited to the do at the Town hall on 24 May 2006’ was to do a runner , told more about the emptiness that is threatening to engulf the borough than anything that the ‘EAST END LIES’ will be prone to fill its ‘news’ spaces with by way of ‘policy and achievements’ ‘in the name of the people of Tower Hamlets, in Tower Hamlets’ – an aadhikaronline report on why the new Mayor tried to run away from the questions… !
Why the ‘Mayor-making’ ‘events’ at Mulberry Place were abuses of the Tower Hamlets Council’s 'power. Access to public cash' and other resources that belong to the community in the Borough – Who paid for the ‘food’ and entertainments? What poverty data were taken into account before the public cash was wasted on entertaining those that had been ‘invited’? What does ‘invitation’ symbolise about how the councillors are contemptuous of the very community which has elected them not even a month ago? – an aadhikaronline report here today [Friday 24 May 2006]
